I'm a Tradie

Not a politician

I've been a Locksmith for the past 9 years

Not the typical career path of a politician

I grew up in the country, Warrnambool specifically

But these days I call Melbourne home

Note: I'm not really “that” country

At a certain point in a man's life

wide brim hats start to be appealing

I reached that point a few years ago

I managed to avoid the straw hat

I ended up here instead

I care about others

Because of that

I've made myself care about politics

Let's be fair, it's a lot to get your head around

That's one of the things I want to make easier

Engaging with politics

Both major parties benefit from it being difficult

I want every Australian to choose someone who truly represents them

That's why the how to vote section on my website is exactly that

How to Vote.

(I do mention where I am on the ballot)

(The right hand side of the big paper)

Giving you the tools to work out who represents you best

Even if that isn't me

This is my second crack at this

I do truly want to make a positive difference in the world

Helping you vote is just the start of that

I need about SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND votes

Which is a lot.

I doubt that many people know I exist

That's where you come in,

Tell your friends and family to google Max Dicks

(lol)

So I can help them too

“I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.”

- Jewish proverb
